Yes....the nitto's run thinner compared to a regular 315....do a search and see how many threads come up....

Chris please read the post above.....Nitto's run thinner than a regular 315. I'm sure you know this.....a BFG 315, yes definetly use a 10.5 rim. But Nitto's 315 is about the size of a BFG 295...it is plenty safe. Do a search and see how many dozens if not more run the Nitto's on the stock 17X9 wheels....

Here's a pic of how the Nitto's look on the stock wheels....

Of course I know that a Nitto runs a little narrow.

I'd say the engineers at Nitto would know their stuff a little better than you and I when recommending wheel sizes when it comes to safety.

BTW, a 295 BFG needs a 10 inch wheel. :beer:

It'll wear out in the middle and the edges will still look brand new. Had a set on my car, what a waste of $. Buys some 10.5's
