I recently bought some Nittos 335/30/18s. I took a few pics of my old BFGs 315/30/18 next to the Nittos. I hope these are helpful to anyone looking to go with the Nittos. The tires were mounted on CCW 18x11 in wheels.

The BFGs were great for the strip but terrible in the rain. The Nittos are great in the rain. They will never see the track I have slicks for that.
One of the Pics I have my boot next to the tire I wear a size 12 just to give you a little reference. The tires do not rub and fit with a little bulge on the rim but not too bad. I am very pleased this far.

If you have anymore questions please let me know.

Sorry the car was dirty in the pics. I just wanted to get them on before the rain hit.

Mike

How do they hook? I had nittos on my old car 495/493 and they did not hook very good. I now have bfgs on my new car 640/583 and they do much better. The nittos look great!!!!

They don't do too bad but not as good as the BFGs.I was looking for a tire that I could still get traction on the street with. I knew regular tires would not cut it (over 600 rwhp). The Nittos will last longer than the BFGs. That was the main thing. I use slicks for the track now.

I hit some rain with my bfgs and about shit my pants:nono: I had to pull over under a bridge with a few bikes and wait. The car was all over the road no matter what I did.

Looks great man. Have you had that beast back to the track lately? I haven't been out there much in this heat. If so, what did it run on the slicks?

pics of them on the car, from the side and back? Are you still on the IRS, I can't imagine those fitting right... I had to do some stuff to make my 315/30/18 bfg's fit correctly

F8LSnake I am putting a solid in the car as we speak. I still did not feel good about the level 5s. I was still always a little nervous with them. I have not had it to the track yet with the slicks on it. Like you I will wait till it cools down. How is your car doing?

Cobra Buddy they fit good I had plenty of room. I will see if I have some more pics of it from the back and side. I would not mind taking more but it has a solid in it now. The pics were taken with the IRS in.

Now there's some meat! They really look nice on your Cobra. Can you post a picture from the rear of the car?

Smoken the IRS is already sold sorry.

Whisper they are not cheap put it that way. I bought them already on the car. I think I bought the car for a deal of a lifetime. I don't think anyone would pass up.

Bob, I only have a few pics with the BFGs on not the Nittos. I already pulled the IRS out. I will try to get some pics with the solid installed it should still give you an idea.

Car is doing fine, but I still need injectors and to get it retuned. Just cruisin with it right now until then. I hope to have it ready for cool fall air. I too should be on slicks next time out. Shooting for mid 10's. PM me if you head to the track any. I'd like to see it run.
