Looking at a tire/rim calculator it looks like the 18x10s would stick out 7mm further and be 14mm more of backspacing...more than likely a no go also.

My 20x10 TSW Nurburgring with a 305 Nitto DR sticks out. I couldn't lower my car with them on. Luckily it's a pretty tall tire and fills in the 4x4 looking gap fairly well. Car has an aggressive stance to it I as i lowered the front before noticing I couldn't lower the rear. Looks cool to me and drives alright and I don't track it. Only negative is the headlights aim to low. Not sure if they are adjustable on this car. I haven't seen my car in three months to check if it is.

Hmmmm so maybe I can throw a 305 DR on my 18x9.5 TSW's??? I was planning on ditching the 285 nt555's for 285 nt555R's, but if I can get away with a 305 I'd rather have a beefier tire

So I have the same wheels as you and basically with my eibach sportlines I'm screwed to run a 305 DR huh. Dammit. Idk if I want to drop to 18's in the back, or 19's, or put 19's in the front and 18's in the back. Just can't decide now. I really like the nurburgring wheel.

I coulda swore I saw a boosted 2011 go 9.9 on a 20" DR and his car was lowered. It was white. I think turbo. Anyone know the car and/or wheel tire setup?

I never ended up getting them as too many people talked me out of it. I ended up getting some 285/35/19 bridgestone potenza re-11s which are still on my car and they hooked decent but now with the extra power they don't hook very well. I would still like to do this if i can find a cheap set on ebay or anywhere i will grab them to try them out. I have p springs so my rear sits really high anyway.

I've got Eurotek UO2's in a 19x9.5" +40mm offset with MT 305/35-19's and they fit fine. I'm lowered using the DUB/Roush/Pro-kit type springs.

Does anyone have a picture down the side of the car to show how much they would stick out?

I have the 305/35/19 MTs on 19x9.5" SVE Drifts and they do NOT rub at all with a Eibach Pro Kit. I also have a adj. panhard rod so the rear is centered. Ive had a 1.46 60' at the track and regularly have 3 passnegers and a trunk full of stuff. They look close but have never touched.

Those look great, could probably use a wider rim to get the flattest contact patch and most out of the tires.

Correct, even though they will fit on the 9.5" wheel, the contact patch area of the tire will be reduced. This is why 11" wheels are the best width for this tire. Fitting and working correctly are two different things. The center of the tire will wear out long before the side tread, even if you run little pressure in the tire.

Bringing alive an old thread. Any pics of 305/35/19 Nitto NT 05r or their street version? I'm lowered on ford racing k springs.

For anyone still looking to go with this setup (305/35/19 with 9.5 wheel) i can say that they fit fine, i got em on my 2011 GT, it looks great. However if you're going to be racing frequently it's best to go with the proper tires.
