Almost year ago my 03 cobra blew up on the dyno as a result of massive oil failure. That was a day I will never forget. After months of contemplating on what to do next, my brother and I decided to rebuild the 03 cobra. Below are some of the pics. UPDATED with a STARTUP!

Sweet build! How much boost and what fuel will you be using?

Running 91 and c16 when im feeling froggy. Used to be on e85 just no stations by me. Starting off with 18-20lbs of boost and see how it is. Motor was built for nitrous too but that will be down the road.

I bought the motor from a guy my brother knew who had it sitting around. Brand new, never put into a car. He bought it from somebody that had it built by vt competition engines. I was told the motor was around 16000 when it was built. I took it to brooks racing and had it completely taken apart. This motor was no Joke. Whoever had it built had deep pockets. I got it for a screaming deal and had everyhthing taken out and put into my ironblock. It was originally in a teksid block.

Thank you. I didnt go with the teksid block because I was told the iron block would hold up better with the 3.4 crusher. If I would of gone turbo the teksid block would have been the way to go.
