Ive got $2500 to spend. Going to buy 17x10.5 wheels plus new 315 bfg kd's for about 700-730 total for sure. Also add in some MM full length subframes for $120 plus $100 to install.

$950 rough so far...

I have a jlt ram air, mac prochamber, mac cat-back, lowering springs already. Rest stock on a convertible.

Whats best bang for the buck?

I have some 10.5 reps for sale right now. They have Nitto DRs on them. You could use those and replace them with BFG when the nittos are done.

You need a smaller upper pulley and dynotune at the least. This should set you back around $700-1000. Perhaps an IRS brace as well?

I say get a BF upper and idlers, a custom tune, MGW shifter, light bar, that will take up about the rest! But that's just my opinion...the verts look sooo much better with the light bar on. I have a black vert myself

Would do it, just need them in chrome.

I agree on the lightbar, Im actually going to get a 4pt weld in rollbar fabbed with the foam padding. Rollbar will add even the slightest bit of structure to the car.

+MM subframes $120, $100 to install... $220
+billetflow 2.76 upper $160
+billetflow 4piece idlers $304
+billetflow irs brace $170
+sct xcal3 $335
+315 bfg kd $395
+17x10.5s chrome $340
+MM irs bolts $15
+3/8 spacer w/ ext studs $90
+mgw shifter $170

total $2199.00

tune $250 at least

From what I read the stock belt should be ok with that upper and the 4pc idlers or do I need 74.5"?

Add a 2.93 pulley and dyno tune. IRS brace and brackets are a must especially on a Vert.

$ 2500.00 to spend

+ 1000 on Bruce's full kit with rear bump-steer kit, Bolts, and grease fittings. B.F Brace, M.M. C/C Plates and 4 wheel Alignment with bump-steer correction.
These are the BEST Mods I've made to my Vert, I should have done them first. You've already done springs and Sub-frames, right?? Good luck...

if you don't already have subframes on a vert, they will make a HUGE difference. You won't even recognize the car commuting along the same roads you drove before. I got the full length MM's welded in and it's like night and day difference

If you want to buy everything new here's what I would do....

Stage IV Ported Eaton- $545
Billetflow 2.76/RR 2.75- $150
Billetflow 100mm Idler- $120
MAFia- $154
SCT or Diablo tuner with tune from Rick @ Amazon- $399
New plugs- $20
74.5" Belt- $35
MM Subframes- $175 w/install (I can't see paying $100 to have them installed)
MGW Shifter- $170
17x10.5's- $340
315 BFG's - $346
Spacers - $50 (Ebay)

Grand total of $2454. You'll have 500rwhp and a much stiffer car. You can also sell your stock blower and wheels to recoupe about $600 of that money you just spent.

Or the route I went, if you don't mind buying used parts in perfect condition. Here's what should be able to find in our Market.....

Upper pulley - $75
Lower pulley - $200
Alt pulley - $30
Ported blower/TB/Plenum - $700
MAFia - $75
SCT or Diablo tuner w/ tune from Rick @ Amazon - $399
Plugs - $20
Belt - $45
Billetflow Idler - $100
MMFLSC - $175
17x10.5's - $340
315 BFG's- $346
Spacers - $50
MGW shifter - $120

That's a total of $2675. Now sell those stock parts back in the same market...

Stock Eaton/TB/Plenum - $450
Stock lower pulley - $100 ( I got $175 + shipping for mine on Ebay)
Stock upper pulley - $25
Stock shifter - $25
Stock rear wheels - $200
Stock alt pulley- $20

and you get back $820 bringing your total spent to $1895. And now you have a full Ported upper/lower Eaton car making 520+rwhp/rwtq!

Since you already have springs;

FL-SFC
IRS brace
Bump Steer Kit
IRS bushings
CC plates
Head Cooling Mod
BF Pullys
CHip and Tune.

All that should be less then $2k

how about a stripper for a couple of hours>...

I was in the same spot as you 9 months ago and I chose to save for a couple of more months and I bought a whipple. It was the best decision I made. Of course I saved up enough money to buy injectors, a used BAP, maftextender, and an Xcal II to get everything running good. Since then I have bought the Killer Chiller, subframes, springs, smaller pulley, and a custom dyno tune. Oh yeah some Nitto's as well.
