definitaly do the h/c/i then later on add a supercharger

makes the most sense to me

there is nothing like all motor power

edit: also a buddy of mine just did a h/c/i swap on his car and he originally want to spend only 2500 but by the time it was done it ended up being a little over 3 grand, just gotta think about the unexpected things that might come up

i THINK I MIGHT GO WITH THE S-TRIM USED IDEA.

USED S TRIM- 1500ISH
42'S- 200
MAF- 350
PMS-900

THATS 2900 IF I CANT FIND A USED PMS.

I got 42s and a matching pro-m for $350 total. On my 89 notch, besides gears and exahust, I bolted on a stock pullied used S-Trim, 36s, Pro-M, Crane ignition, set the timing, fuel pressure, and ran 11s. A combo like that doesn't really need a professional tune. I just had a timing retard, and was set.

Definitely the S-trim. Reliable, easy, best bang for your buck. You'll probably make enough power that you won't have to even touch the H/C/I down the road.

I've seen several 500 RWH stock motor boosted '93 cobras.

I would do:

AFR 185s $1500
custom ground Ed Curtis cam $250
port match the stock intake $150
A9L swap with a Lightning MAF $250
Good SCT tune $300

Enough left over for beer and gaskets.

Correct me if Im wrong but wouldnt 185's cause piston to valve clearance issues?

Yeah. The pistons valve reliefs would need to be ground a bit.

depends on the cam, not just the head. A small cam with minimal duration with 185s can clear a stock piston.

According to AFR they would need to be modified. Would backing the rockers off to a 1.6 fix that problem?

185's are unnecessary on a 302 anyways. There isn't enough gain to justify them over the 165 heads.

185's are better suited for 331-351 motors in my opinion

The 185s have very similar flow numbers to a TFS twisted wedge which are a proven performer on a 302. They also would give you some room to grow if there is a stroker on the Horizon. just my opinion.

TFS TW @500 lift
251 int 2.02 valve
187 exh 1.60 valve
AFR 185 @500 lift
267 int 2.02 or 1.90 valve
185 exh 1.60 valve
AFR165 @500 lift
243 int 1.90 valve
185 exh 1.60 valve

Get a used Kenne Bell, you can squeeze a good 10lbs out of it & shit your pants everytime you hit the gas.

30 times might do it:beer: I was there 3 times in 2006, and I can't wait to go in 2007. Everytime I went there things were always different from the last time, can't believe all the condos going up!! I have only been there in 75-80 degree weather, I want to experience the 110+ temps there.:burn:

Uh yea. Me and 3 friend bought a 2 BR 2BA condo there for 485,000 in 2000. We sold it about a yr and a half-2 years ago for 1.4 mil. Real estate is crazy in vegas.

That was our development.

Nice...site and place...

Absolutley....the first time I went there compared to the 3rd time...night and day difference, totally changed, but still fun. All of the condos I saw being built were already sold. Must be nice to have 500,000 to 2.5 million to drop on something that isn't even built yet...:coolman:
