For sale is the original DOHC 4.6 engine and Cobra-spec T45 5-speed transmission from my 1996 Mustang Cobra with 24,076 miles. The engine and transmission are in excellent original condition as shown and were in perfect working order when removed. I bought this car at 24,030 miles to use for a custom build.
Unlike typical scrap yard or part-out sellers, great care was taken removing the engine and this one was pulled from an excellent condition and well maintained vehicle that was NOT wrecked or damaged in any way. All wiring, lines and all remain free of any damage. All finishes are also original, and nothing has been replaced, repainted or refinished - it’s in entirely original condition.
I drove the car approximately 40 miles and it ran and shifted perfectly. Will add a video from the for sale ad showing it idling and driving.
