I have had a 2020 ST for about a month now. Great daily driver and with a tune will do mid to low 12s. Not too bad for hauling the family around. They are a little pricey but can probably get on in the high 40s if you look around long enough.

I asked about the trim level because I looked at an ST last year. they were right at 60k - not worth it. if you were approaching that cost, I'd suggest looking at an Aviator.

oh yes, to your question....the fit and finish, I found it similar to my Focus ST. a 30k car. I was shocked a 60k Explorer ST felt the same internally. for 30 to 40k I could tolerate it, but 50 and 60, no way. If i was looking for a basic XLT, then yes I'd look at one. It does have good room and can pull enough for my needs. but for 60k, it is competing with X3 M40i, Aviators, Q5's etc. No way I'd buy the Ford over any of those
