2015 Recaro's in a 2012?!

The foam is much firmer and I like the coverings better.

I love the seatbelt guides on the S550 recaros though! Wish my 2013 had em. If you're not tall enough to have the seat back far enough, the seatbelt rubs the seat. I feel like overtime that will ruin the cloth recaros

I don't like that the S550s don't have the arm that makes the belt easier to reach like the S197.

Ah I never realized they didn't have the arm. Was only in a '15 briefly. Haven't seen many in my area

Just out of curiosity, what makes you like the s197 ones more?

I'm in agreement, and for the same reasons. The power/heated/adjustable lumbar Shelby Recaros I put in my '11 are the best mod I've ever done to any car. They're fantastic.
