Hey S550 fans,

I want to put together a little story about ordering a 2015 Mustang. Do you have any sage words of advice?

Thanks much,

I would add you can get a PIN from Mustang Club of America for X-plan pricing.

The 2 things that "gride my gears" are:

1. Spoiler delete doesn't save you any money when selecte as a separate option.
2. When ordering both the PP an the 50 yrs package (not the LE) you do get a credit for the cost of the wheels that are deleted.

One tip that some don't know is that you can order from a dealer out of state and have it dropped shipped to your local dealer for delivery. This is very beneficial to those guys in areas that are charging MSRP+ or will not honor X-plan at this time.

My only gripe with the order guide is that the brembo's are trapped in the GT Perf pkg. I want the big brakes for but don't care for the diff or black wheels. I think that Ford should have offered them as a stand alone or at least in another package (wheel/brake only) for the guys who are not going to road track the car.

My only gripe is lack of specs in regards to HP/weight!

From what I've seen the car seems priced fairly, even if the HP is more or less carryover, the chassis, aesthetic, and interior improvements ALONE make the car a great value.
