Been so busy, I have been slacking on providing some updates about some stuff I am doing to my '15.
So, after having such good luck sending customers to Shaftmasters over the years, I decided to use them for the DS on my new 2015 GT Auto.
I assisted them with the development of this piece, so the process for me was a little more complicated than when you purchase them int he future.
Anyhow, the stock GT Auto DS weighed in at 29lbs. The Shaftmasters weighed in at 19lbs. I'm looking for any weight savings I get, so I am happy with that!
This is a bolt-on part. It comes with new rear pinion flange bolts, a tool to clean the threads, and some loctite. The socket pictured, is what they send for the S197 shafts...but, they will be changing that up to a wrench - because the socket does not work with the new 2015 rear flanges.
Anyhow, here is what came to me.
Instructions, a note on pinion angle, and some parts to aide in installation.

Cleaning the threads up with the provided tool
All buttoned up!
I recommend a Driveshaft Loop to be installed at the same time, so do most DS manufactures I assume. Pretty convenient, as I already had our DSL017 installed on the car.
The install is pretty straightforward. Make sure the flanges are nice and clean, the threads are clean, and that you tighten all the bolts properly.
I will have some feedback soon. As of now, the car drives fine...and everything seems normal. I can't wait to put it to the test at the drag strip. :rockon:
