I have a hard time believing that one. He certainly didn't cut a 1.62 60ft on street tires.

For comparison's sake, Evan Smith's best times behind a 2010 GT500 were 11.592/118.45 on ET Streets and 11.951/120.29 on the stock street tires.

11.11 @ 124 would be a good time for a 2013, for a 2010 it's unlikely.

The question was how fast the GT500 has gone on a DR. The 11.11 is a hero time on DR.

The link says bone stock on racestars. Last I checked racestars were a type of wheeel not a tire. But yeah, it's obvious it was on DRs. Honestly, it's the 124 mph that seems most unusual, that's a good 6 mph faster than a typical mph on a good run.

11.368 @123.89 is the next fastest time on tire. I am sure it is mineshaft air and good prep, but hero runs are just that.

I am certain with mine shaft air and a 1.6X 60ft my stock boss on DR can do 11.70s maybe even an 11.6X if everything lines up right...I have gone 11.83 w/ 1.70 in pretty good air, but my mph is 116ish.. maybe I can go 117-118 in mineshaft air...124 is way ahead of that!!

I know the car that ran a 11.11@124 ive raced with him back we both had 10sec eaton cobras. his name is randal and his stock 11 500 regularly ran the times the next fastest car ran that your calling hero runs, with that 11.11 being his best.

11.11...., not sure I buy that... But I guess its possible. If 124 mph is honestly possible stock then a boss has no shot. But I havent seen any 13 GT500s on Dr that could do that 11.11... So????

That car is a freak, and it is kind of questionable. But back in 08, I ran 11.70's with just a drag radial on an 08 GT500. The 11-12's make more power and are lighter, and have a better rear gear stock. A good driver should be able to run mid 11's with a stock 11-12 GT500 with radials. The GT500 definitely has the power to walk away from a Boss, but the launch is the equalizer.

because NED is a horrible track. they don't believe in track prep.

X2...... Maybe this year, the track will be better with all the improvements.......

At NED, I killed a stock 11 GT 500 with the Boss, both stock tires and DR's...... GT 500 cut 2.2-2.4 60', Boss 1.97-2.2 60' stock tires, and 1.87 DR's

Makes me wonder how I'd do. I have a 2012 GT, 3.73 rear with Steeda Intake and SCT tune that put 410hp to the wheels on the 87oct. tune. So depending on your math and transfer loss I'd be approx 50 hp short and 200lbs lighter. Would probably come down to the driver.
