I think they new what they were doing but they just wanted to see if it could 1k whp for one pull.

Ouch! That's an expensive way to satisfy one's curiosity. I would have rather seen them upgrade the rods and slugs. Not a fair test of the motor robustness IMO

Slugs don't even need it, just the rods.
But guys here already discussed why, these 5.8 blocks are expensive and most are happy with 700-750rwhp.
I have one of the highest power TVS cars at 965rwhp without ice, and anyone can repeat that, just open the wallet.

That'll get your hair blowing in the convertible.
Any plans for race fuel/E85 tuning?
Cams?
-J
Cams are Comp Cams that Tim from MPR picked and installed. I have an E85 tune, put down 1062hp at 23lbs of boost. Planned on an E98 tune but ran out of injector.

Very nice!
Let's see the corn dyno.
What injectors?
I currently run ID1300s and installing a Fore triple 465 pump setup.
Looking for 1000-1100rwhp.

Dyno results:

Previous Mods - Dyno #s: Off Road X Pipe, JLT Resonator Delete, 2.4 Upper, 3.73 Gear, Custom Tune netted 686rwhp/730 Tq.

New Mods: Added JLT 123mm Intake, FRPP 65mm TB increased top end power to 715rwhp/729 Tq. Timing at 19' degrees.

So, the bigger intake and TB added roughly 30rwhp gain. Def happy with the results and have 2 more Mods in store, Boost a Pump and looking for Long Tube Headers.

I love the headers! I have a 10% overdriven lower and before the headers the boost would hit you like a ton bricks earlier but now it just builds as you climb in the RPM. My tuner said it was safer with headers because the restriction is gone with the addition of the headers and the engine can exhale now!

Holy Torque curve Batman! What are the mods again? Whats making that much Tq, impressive.
Lol when I bought the car I said the same thing. I dont know why this car makes so much TQ. The biggest engine mods are 1-7/8 ARH headers and a OFR h pipe, 2.39 pulley, twin 65mm T/B, JLT 123mm intake, Kenne bell bigun intercooler and it's tuned by Lund on 93.

2011....was that Lund's Race Tune with waiver or just that from your datalogs. Your torque curve is plum crazy!
I did the waiver to have timing stay in from 3-5K and improved fuel but that race tune range was within limits of shops here.
