What do you feel will be the "more significant" change for fuel injection?

The engines on the road now are really old school, no matter how techy we may think they are. I can't believe we actually still use cams and springs to move a valve. There are huge efficiency gains to be had if just one of the OEM's takes the plunge on technologies like this.

yea, cam operated valves are the biggest sin of current engines. i mean, really!


on a side note, my dream rotary engine would not have solenoid operated valves, because it's a rotary, LOL.

Considering what the new 5.0L is making with mild bolt-ons I think we could see an N/A Boss with DI that makes 450hp+ in a couple years.

450+HP, yes.

Direct injection, not required.

In a couple of years? Nope, wait a few months for official info. By year's end at worst.
