I plan on leaving it alone for now so no nitrous for me. Gonna try taller tires with skinnys up front and hope for better weather to get me below 11.50's.

I was hitting the rev limiter right before the traps in 4th. I tried shifting into 5th and it only made my trap speed lower. 115 hitting the rev limiter in 4th vs 114 shifting into 5th. I was using 26" MT's so I'm gonna try my 28" MT's and see if it helps any.

Its probably going to slow you down. I know I saw a video on here of a guy shifting into 5th gear going through the traps.

So sick, that was impressive. I plan on the same mods but 20" Steeda ultralites and If needed a 75 or 100 horse "NX" N20 system to run 11's on 20's

It may slow me down, but I won't know til I try it. I shifted into 5th 3 out of 4 times (missed 5th on one of the runs but still ran 11.94) and it didn't help me any.

What gear are you running in the rear? I have 4.10's, and 26" tires, and I'm thinking about going back down to a 3.73. I bought my car with 3.31's, so, I wanted to try 4.10's. But, it's just too short of a gear with this 6spd.

I have factory 3.73's. With a 26" tire I hit the rev limiter right before the traps in 4th. My limiter is set at 7300. IMO a 27" tall tire would be perfect for the 3.73's.
