I believe that the days of bad ass sounding Mustangs are over. With the placement of the mufflers in the rear, and VCT, the 3V and the new 5.0 just can not and will not EVER sound as good as the 2V and 4.6 4V's.

When I was looking at exhaust for my 3V, I was very unhappy with everything that I heard. With the exception of MAC exhaust. That was the only exhaust that gave the S197's some of the deep hollow tone that the 2V's and 4V's were known for. I would like to hear the O/R Prochamber, with the Mac axlebacks on the new 5.0.

BTW: The Magnaflow muffler delete sounded like a wet fart on that 5.0...:nonono:

Exactly. Pypes makes a nice mid-muffler set up.

The SW setup is raspy as hell. Hope their chambered mufflers tone that down.

Definitely wanna hear chambered mufflers. Hoping it sounds way better and way less raspy. Macs or Flows please!

I am actually thinking of doing the old Mid muffler set up. I have the resonators... Just replace the ones ford put in and do the famous " Muffler delete" and see how that sounds.

That helps a little. But with VCT, and the 3V design, it still doesn't even come close to the 4.6 2V and 4V's....
