I really like the hood vent.
Wish they woulda done sotin new with the fog lights rather than use pretty much the same front bumper.
But I think it just shows, even tho it says shelby, it's still a cobra since that fog light design is a cobra trademark...
Also diggin the new rims.
Seems like ford went some modern touches on the retro style:

front and rear faschias
and I'm sure the interior will take steps toward being
more comfortable and modern.

This is a final testing mule.
Some even have the factory stickers on the windows.
These are rolling of the production line, to:
A: Make sure nothing is fubared on the lines
B: Make sure quality is up to par with what was planned
C: Make sure the line can handle production
D: Get a rough idea how long it will take the factory to produce each car
E: Get mules running around in near final trim to generate buzz
Smaller could mean less weight, more power....
I'ma be a bad guy and say that the headlights, tail lights of the GT500/GT are nasty. The wing on the GT500 is ass.

Still the smooth edges at the corners sure give is a more brawny look, much like the Challenger, less like the Camaro. I can dig it, but 94-98 still get my vote in person (they look like azz in photos--not photogenic cars).

You could have at least posted stock examples of each generation..Those are some crappy examples/shots of stangs you dug up there. :smmon:
Ford's R&D department is continuing to build the #1 selling pony car for the last 30+ years. I'm not a fan of the 05+ GTs personally, but it is what it is. BTW, I think the new design is definitely a nice update.
It's pretty obvious that this rendition is pretty damn close to the final product. That being said, if you think this is uglier than the current models or doesn't have much potential than you're smoking crack!
Everyone always bitches and moans that the car is ugly when it's all camo'd up, and that's exactly what it is intended to do, it's there to skew your visual perception of the car and its lines. If they were ready to release it to the public don't you think they would remove the camo first?

That might not be a final either. They might have pulled their rendition of the rear defuser from another mule. That's why I say you have to wait on your final judgement until the car is unveiled.
Looks more muscular and taught than the current model. Hopefully it will be lighter as well. Either way, it looks better and should be lighter than both its competitors. Light weight=win.
The whole point is it looks basically like the same damn car, with a slight change to the bumpers/hood
