2009 Test Mule Spotted

The article seems to have been written by people not well versed in the F-Series. They keep mentioning the 7-lug wheels like it's something new. They have been available for years on the 7700# payload group.

There's definatly a new cluster in there.

scratch that the third time was a charm. i dont see that much difference. the base 09 grill looks like the fx4 grill. the int was a little different. the gauges looked similar to the 08 250's.

Looks almost like the -04/05. I really like the large bar grille. Reminds me of the other models Ford's making. \

I'm more interested in the engine options as I'm looking at picking up yet another Roush.

sort of OT, I would be kinda scared to be the one to drive a test mule. all sorts of wires everywhere... oops, I just lost power!..and then the instrument cluster falls into my lap.


I remember back in the Summer of 03, the Norfolk plant brought 5 04s up through Corolla to drive in the sand. 4 came back on thier own.

The reg cab definitely looks better. The grill and bumper look identical to the present day F-150 but to me the bumpers looks to be stuck out to far which makes me think it will be different on the 09's.
