Just curious as to what you guys think? I'm getting a pully upgrade for my GT500. The guy said typically they make about 435 rwhp stock. He said with just the pully upgrade and tune, they usually make 570-580rwhp. I am also getting a cat back exhaust. I'd love to break the 600rwhp mark. What do you think?

At 580 HP and 4040lbs that would be just under a 7lb/HP power to weight ratio. That's pretty supercarish.

Pulley upgrade and tune, you're looking at 520-530. If you want 600+ you'll have to think of a lower pulley and some additional bolt ons like a TB, intake.

I think you will be looking at 530-540HP, but it will feel great and up the fun factor of the car. If you want over 600, IMO you should upgrade the SC, overspinning a smaller SC is counterproductive at some point. Enjoy!

Local guy was making 574rwhp 570rwtq with intake, pulley, tune and exhaust in his 2007. However he was trapping best of 126mph with the driver mod.

I put down 535rwhp 540rwtq in my 2010 GT500 with the following mods

2.59 upper pulley
Jon Lund 91oc tune
Off-Road X midpipe
Revan Racing Heat Exchanger
170 thermostat
Roush intercooler 3x reservoir

You will need a lower pulley, Throttle Body, Long Tubes and ported blower to reach anywhere near 600.

I would go with a blower swap if north of 600 is your goal.

Its not really my goal it would just be cool to say 600 rwhp. As I said, I'm used to an 01 Cobra with only about 320 rwhp so this will be a huge upgrade. Hell, its faster stock than my cobra was with full bolt ons and 4.10s. I'm curious to see and share the dyno results now. My guy said his last two guys had 570+ with just a tune and pulley upgrade. There's a chance I heard him wrong but as I said, either way a huge upgrade.

He prob messes with the dyno to keep customers returning. Either way, if it runs good don't worry about it .

Considering just the pulley and CAI is supposed to add 125 HP to the wheels it should def be over 520. It makes 435 at the wheels stock. 435+125= 560 rwhp. But I guess only time will tell. Should be in the shop on Monday can't wait to see the results. Thanks for the input guys!

Where do you get your +125rwhp from? If you poke around some you will fine the average for pulley/tune/CAI combos are 520-560rwhp with the once in a blue moon dyno freak. When I was pulley/tune only I was definitely on the lower end due to CA octane. Dyno numbers mean very little because you can be 550rwhp on one and 520rwhp on another, what you do at the track tells the whole story.
