Was this a thing in the day? I think Ford missed out; Dodge really cleaned up with its widebody Challengers.

The Hole Shot and Widebody packages were available at one time to all 07-14 Shelby's. Very expensive.

The last time I spoke with a shelby rep about 6 months ago the widebody and holeshot option was still available. They will only do the holeshot package for existing SS CSM owners and you have to own an extra PCM on hand.......period!! They will do widebody conversions for GT500 owners or SS owners. Right now they are extemely busy. I cant get in to get done what Id like to get done this fall/winter. So will have to see if spring will work??? Full Widebody package you can plan on spending 30-35K. Hole shot package 33k.

The widebody has some "BIG" advantages and some minor disavantages. Im happy with the widebody and wouldn't trade it for nothing. Really helps balance the car and the massiive 345x30zrx20 helps with traction. Anti hop package will drastically help as well. Anti hop package is available still too if you just want that done.
