Dont have any recent vids of the 350z, although there is one of me racing a bolt on 2004 viper. Should have been up by now. But here is an older one of me racing a full bolt on camaro and me on 7psi stock exaust.

My stock clutch wouldnt hold in the upper rpms.

Mr2 is gone, but I plan on getting another one soon.

At first I thought the same thing. Now they're starting to grow on me. After seeing some recent vids, Im starting to become more impressed with their performance.

If Ford could get as much n/a power out of a 4.6 as Hyundai it would be an entirely different outcome.

13.7 with 319hp shelby where stock 05+ GTs with 300 hp running 13.3-13.4s stock. their pro drivers suck at driving.

Most people seem to run 13.7-14.0 @ 100-102 with the new GT's stock (completely) and seeing as how SGT's dyno within 5hp of a standard GT I'm not surprised at what it ran. I've heard of people going 13.4 in new GT's but it's as rare as stock Z06's running low 11's. Either way 13.3 or 13.7 it should be a lot faster for the as tested price of 39k. That thing costs almost as much as a GT500 or stripper LS3 Vette.

we are talking about magazine pro. drivers. they are not sopposed to drive like most peoplle. they are sopposed to drive better than most people and get the best performance out of the cars. thats my point. I don't expect everyone to run low 13s with a 300hp GT but i sure expect that from a pro. driver.

I ran 13.4 with my stock 06 GT.

so 13.7 my ass. they just need to fire that driver.

+1. I hate when magazines test cars like that. And its not just mustangs either. I've seen a Motor Trend test where they only ran a 12.0 or 12.1 with a new Z06. wtf? if average ethusiasts can do it, why can't professional test drivers do it?

Guys key word mentioned was traction and if the SGT used DRs it would be night night to that lil STI.

That is really the only factor holding back these heavy high hp muscle cars. TRACTION
