Solved - The GT500 headlight harness requires the GT500 body harness for this plug to connect.
I'm looking for some insight into this. I am in the middle of a GT500 swap on my 09 Bullitt and everything has been smooth sailing except for dealing with this GT500 specific OEM HID headlight harness.
In order to utilize the HE pump, I have a GT500 HID Headlight Harness, everything plugs in as it should except for the one plug that taps into one of the harnesses that follow into the fusebox.
The harness part number I'm using is 8R3Z-14290-HAA
08/09 GT500 HID Harness plug
2009 GT HID Harness Plug - obviously doesn't look like anything of the GT500 one.
The harness plug the headlight harness needs to attach into
I was curious to know if people can shed some light on this and figure out what is going on. Also if you could locate this plug in your engine bay and post a pic to see if this is anything like the one I'm showing.
What it could be
*A major difference between the GT500 body harness and GT?
*other things?
Thanks for any help.
