SOLD
I am considering selling my 2004 Competition Orange Mustang Cobra. I have owned three of these cars (all CO). One I bought new in 2004, the second in 2011, and I have owned this particular car for a year and a half. This car was the closest I have found to a brand new one. It still smells new, the leather on the steering wheel isn’t worn at all, the interior is mint, and the undercarriage isn’t even dusty.
Last summer my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world, and the rest is self explanatory. Needless to say I haven’t spent any time playing with the car since my daughter was born. I find it frustrating to have the car and not be able to use it, as well as having money tied up where I’m not really able to enjoy it.
When I bought the car it was stock except for an intake and exhaust. I wanted to make this car exactly like my first cobra so I changed both of those last spring and also installed an Accufab TB, 3.0 pulley, and Billetflow diff brace. The car was dyno tuned and made 465rwhp. The current exhaust is a Mac catted Pro Chamber and stainless 2.5” cat back. I had the exhaust coated in Jet Hot ceramic satin black - except the tips. I also had the Steeda intake done in wrinkle black. I have machined 18x9/10.5 AFS wheels with BFG 275/35/18 KDW2 in the front and BFG DR 315/30/18 rears on it. I have the factory chrome wheels/tires and all the original parts.
The car is amazing. But my priorities have changed. I have driven it 300-400 miles since the mods. I’ve put a total of 700 miles on it since I’ve owned it. It runs great. It sits on a battery tender and I drive it once in a while. It hasn’t been out in moths since the winter has been bad here in NY.
I paid 32k for the car. I’m into it for thousands more.
32,000 with factory wheels/tires.
33,000 with AFS.
These numbers are firm.
Please save your negative comments and don’t waste my time unless you are serious. Like I said, I’m a new dad who doesn’t have much time outside of work and family life.
Thanks for looking. I’ll post up more pictures when I can pull the car out of the garage. The weather wasn’t accommodating this past weekend.
