2003 Mineral Grey 2.9 Whipple Crusher Cobra - Updated with Pictures

It's come time to part ways with my better half, my 2003 Mineral Grey Cobra. Roughly 54k miles. I'd rate interior as 8/10 and exterior roughly 8/10. A brand new OEM Ford Bumper, also painted by Ford installed March 2015. With new chin spoiler as well. The only reason for selling is i have recently fell in love with C6ZO6's and I'm looking to propose to my girlfriend. I have no use for two sports cars. If you are looking to modify a cobra, this is a great way to save a ton on the build. A quick calculation of what I've invested so far comes to well over $20k. ( Thats just calculating the main/larger items AND not including all the tuning cost). All parts installed in May of 2012 unless noted below. Tuned by Justin's Performance Center (JPC). I know I am forgetting many things. Feel free to ask!

I have no torque readings at the moment, the dyno wouldnt read torque for some reason that day.

I have been assured many times over that the bottom end is safe at the e85 power level. Its all about the tuning. And we have 34 hours of logged tuning just on the last round of tuning. I drive this car everywhere when I am not at work. The spool gives no issue driving, only noticed during sharp turns. I have paperwork on most the parts installed. The car has only been to the track three times (two MACA rentals and one JPC rental), with a grand total of maybe 12 passes.

Please see last post for updated parts and pictures.

Sounds good buddy. I'm taking it in to have the replacement bumper painted within the next few weeks. She'll be cherry if I still have her in January.

I'm in the market, but your asking price is a little bit above my comfort level. Text me or PM me your lowest offer and lets see if we can make a deal 832-9zero8-8threethree6

Updated parts and paint!

Sorry for delay in response to sale. Yes car is still for sale. Price has been edited slightly to accommodate new parts and paint.

The new Ford OEM bumper and chin spoiler have been painted and installed. Mirrors have also been painted. (pictures below).

I had the car on the lift last month and realized my suspension was shot, so all suspension is new as follows:

- Strange 10 way adjustable struts
- Strange coil overs
- UPR 12-250 coil over springs
- Offset poly steering rack bushings
- All new UPR A-Arm bushings ( grease zerks also installed )
- Team Z Street Beast - double adjustable upper and lower control arms ( rear )
- Torque Box reinforcements - upper and lower ( Bolted and welded )
( Note: Torque boxes were not damaged. Were simply installed as preventative )
- Poly differential housing bushings
-Stock Mach 1 springs
- Viking Double Adjustable rear shocks w/ poly mounts

Also installed:
- Magnaflow bullet style muffler ( SLP's are annoying )
- New O2 sensors ( 200 miles )
- New NGK plugs ( 200 miles )

With new suspension, ride height has been adjusted. Rear tires have been centered. And bump steer better corrected without a mass of shims.

Mileage is now at 54577 and will climb slightly as I attend car meets. Until I find the right Vette. And if not sold in a timely manner, I will be going for a 9 second pass this year with proper suspension. ( For the 4th track event since in my possession )

To answer some questions/comments/statements I have been receiving about sale:

- Yes car makes a tick over 800HP.
- Yes car is safe and reliable.
- No the car/motor is not a ticking time bomb. The tune is very safe. Also realize it only makes 800 hp at 6500+ RPM. Not all day everyday, every second of driving. Also only makes 800hp on e85. When running pump gas 93 octane, power is down to 650HP...Also at 6500 RPM. You wouldn't even know the car was as powerful as it is until you lay into throttle.
- Yes I am realitevely firm on price. A price at which I believe is a hell of a deal for everything you are getting. But you can still shoot me an offer. But please do not email or text me asking my bottom dollar. My bottom dollar is advertised price, but I will consider offers.
- Yes the car still handles well. Especially with the new suspension. Of course not as well as an IRS with 26inch rear tires. But I have no problem keeping up with my buddy in his Boss at a moderate speed through twisties.

The only bad parts of car that I can think of:
- About a 1 inch spot on windshield pillar where wiper broke and rubbed paint. I keep forgetting to get a picture, but i will.
- 28 inch tires in rear do slightly rub on very hard turns at moderate speed. And if moderate speed hitting a dip. Nothing to worry about or at all concerning.
