My car temp usually stays right in the middle of the gauge until the air temp starts getting over 90 degrees, even going down the freeway it will start going up. It started about 2 years ago.
I have had it to 5 different shops including 2 Ford Dealerships.
The Engine only has about 8 thousand miles on the remanufactured unit.
They have replaced the thermostat, and new 3 row Fluidyne radiator, replace the fan relays,
It has drained burp and replaced antifreeze about 6 times and nothing works. If it gets hot then the car gets hot. I have also had it checked to see if there is any gas from a compression leak getting into the fluid and it showed negative.

What temp thermostat are you running? When does the low speed and high speed fan kick on?

That's what I was thinking but this remanufactured motor had a new or rebuilt water pump on it when I put it in 8,000 miles ago.

My wife had a similar problem a few years ago with her Hyundai Azera. After a local shop checked the radiator and replaced the thermostat (didn't help), they finally discovered it was the water pump. I would definitely check yours, even if it's relatively new (rebuilt or new).

Hard dealing with issue when your sending it out..

A scanner that does real time data will work to see when fans come on..

A tuner is needed to change them..

I would get a compression test done ..

I went thru this also..

Did 3 core rad/ 170 tstast.

I drilled 2 holes in tstat..

I see 178 -182 now.

I also just found an issue on fan connector..

Last week i over heated..

The pins on the fan side harness were pushed or pulled back where it wasnt a tight connection.. yet outer clip was locked on connector..

are you sure its getting hot? I think id try throwing in a new coolant temp sensor and then monitor temps through the OBD2 and make sure its not something strange going on with either the sensor or the dummy light guage on the dash.

This part broke I think it might be heater hose connection and they replaced it with something from hardware store problems started after that

Very pretty car..

Im on original tank and cap..

That hose repair looks bad..it connects to a tube that runs to back of water pump..

There is a double oring type seal ..dumb

Could be area to check for leak..

Not sure if you can see in that spot with mirror on stick..

On modularfords.com you will find a delete option..
