**UPDATE** still havent gotten the car to start yet, but got a lot accomplished since last post. I ordered 2 new heater hoses and replaced my rigged up heater hose set up and now it looks a lot better, ordered all new radiator hoses and 99+ 4v thermostat housing to replace the 96-98 4v thermostat housing and hoses because for some reason they all wouldnt line up properly. I also got brand new COP boots and springs and replaced the old ones that weren't seating properly on the sparkplugs, bought and installed a new crank position sensor. So tomorrow I'm gonna install the thermostat housing and fill the car up with coolant and try to start it. Im really hoping that the car starts tomorrow, cross your fingers everyone. here are some pics of how it sits now.

Well got good news today, finally got the car to start but its not running that well. But im just glad i finally got it to start. Got a couple codes, p0352, p0356, p0357, and p0358. Which are for coils 2,6,7,8. So what exactly could be causing this? Here's a video

Me and my buddy were just discussing the Mark VIII DOHC vs buying the TF heads for the 2V's. Maybe, if you dont mind, you can answer the one thing we didnt agree on. If I did the work myself I could get the TF heads on my car for about $2500. After buying all the parts necessary to do the Mark VIII swap: headers, timing cover, intake, etc, is it cheaper to do the TF heads or the 4V swap? I'm sure it all depends on what kinda deals you can get on all the 4V swap stuff but from your own personal experience which is cheaper? We both agreed that the 4V swap has more power potential but we couldnt get to which is cheaper cuz neither of us have ever done it so we werent sure what all parts where needed. Just a friendly discussion between Mustang buddy's, not an argument of which is better or anything.

Well definitely got some good news today, got everything buttoned back up. Go to start it and it started! I'm really stoked about this now. Now all I gotta do is just readjust my catback, install new bumper, chin spoiler, head lights, tail lights, fog lights, new brake calipers and pads and then make an appointment to get it dyno tuned. This swap has had it's ups and downs for me, but I feel that in the long run it'll be worth it.

Here's a vid of it, sorry for the clarity it was taken on my iPhone.

Well today I got my smoked tail lights and third brake light, rotors and pads installed. Also started working on the bumper, got the smoked fogs and chin spoiler installed on it. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the bumper, smoked head lights and hood installed. Then all I gotta do is clean all my tools and accessories out of the car and clean the inside and outside up. Will hopefully post more pics tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments and support everyone.

Well taking the car back to the tuner on Saturday, hopefully he'll be able to do something with it this time and make some good numbers.

I am glad to see you finally got it done. You are definitely going to enjoy it. I will subscribe to see your numbers after the tune. Any plan for power upgrade in the future?

Well finally got it tuned didn't get the numbers I was looking for. But the tuner said the engine isn't broken in all the way and the rings aren't fully seated. And once all that is done I should be in the correct ballpark. He added timing, fuel, spark and everything and go still didn't change that much. But after he got it all said an done and tuned he made a couple more pulls and every time the hp and tq kept gaining. So that's why he said let the motor fully break in and then see where we are at.

Here's a graph of the final run. I'll also post up a run from the beginning of today also before all the tweaking. Last Thursday when I took it to get tuned I only made around 190 hp/tq and that was with a misfire from a bad cop and intake gasket leak.

Nice! When it's all said and done, you will probably end up around 275 RWHP. Go and enjoy the fruit of your labor. Congratulations, buddy!
