Most generic tunes that come on a chip are more conservative so I don't think that putting it back in will hurt anything.

Would a generic tune be on a diablosport chip? I know my car was previously tuned... so Im wondering if theres more than a conservative tune. The car was making 310 303 before I took out the chip and replaced bearings. Havent dynoed it yet.

If it was dyno tuned then it would have probably been done with a hand held tuner or flip chip. My guess is that the diablosport chip just has a generic tune on it.

If I were you I would put the chip back in when you race him and pull it back out after the race.
