2000 Cobra catalog?!?!

I was searching ebay today and came across this very strange auction for "2000 SVT Cobra Catalog"....but they never made a 2000 except the cobra R.

Take a look at these pictures from the catalog, the cobra looks like a 1999, same chrome headlights, same spoiler but the rear bumper says "cobra" unlike the 1999 that said "mustang", also it looks like it has the 2001 rear SVT logo on the trunk lid and not the 1999 logo that has SVT and COBRA under it.

So, is this thing legit? I would think ford would of started planning the 2000 cobra early in 1999 but then stopped due to the 1999 Cobra power problem.

Check it out and tell me know you think, Im confused about this catalog.

i actually picked up a 2000 cobra brochure off ebay a few years ago. another cool thing is ford had a mystic paint option (color changing red/orange) called mystic gold clearcoat. but the car never made it to production.

I'm not 100 percent but wasnt there a 2000 cobra (not a cobra R)offered in australia, or was that a 02 I remember hearing something weird like that.

I used to have this catalog. I specifically remember the blue cobra from behind and noticing that they put the lettering in the rear bumper.

Thats awsome, never knew about competition super cobras, would love to have that dual feed intake on my 99.
