I just installed an autometer boost gauge and took the Cobra out for a WOT blast. In third gear, I noticed I was only making 12 lbs of boost. My combo is a 2.93 with a steggy IV port. I don't see any evidence of belt slip (no dust). Shouldn't the boost be higher? Any ideas?

If you don't have a lower pulley on it that should be about right. I think that the 2.93 pulley is good for 13lbs.

Thanks guys...I really appreciate the replies. I'm going to the track tomorrow and wanted to make sure the car is running as it should be. I just picked up a set of drag radials for the Cobra (IRS brace just installed) and I'm hoping to run some decent #s...
i see around 12lbs on mine also but i have a stage III port! post up your times when you get them! my 2 best out of only 3 runs was 12.2's at 107 and 109.. i was havin fits with 3rd and 4th gear that night for some reason! once i nail those 2 shifts in one pass im hopin for some 11's ha
That's about all I saw for boost, now with the 2.75 I'm barely seeing 13 lbs...
