You will love it, just make sure you get a good tune. I daily drive with my 2.76 with no problems at all.

Billetflow 2.76 here. Get the 2.76 and a 2.93 and swap them with ease when you want to.

The smaller the pulley the more the potential for belt slip, although with the addition of idlers and a non-slip pulley the slippage should be minimal. Personally I'd go with a 2.93 upper and a 4 lb. lower. A bit more work but you'll be overall happier with the result. Then when you port your blower you can use the 2.76/4lb. lower combo that Tom's03SVT is using. JMO.
