For before / after pics and materials used please read my previous thread: Just Finished my Interior.

First of all gotta say that I’m impressed w/ the quality of SEM’s products. 2.5 years later after having dyed my interior, the paint is holding strong and looking good. Quite a feat when you consider Puerto Rico’s hot-all-year-round-tropical-climate.

At first I was a little worried about the durability of the paint. Having to dye pieces every so often wasn't something I had planned. But so far, the product has endured quite strong.

Because nothing is perfect (as PR's economy), there are some areas of contact and continuous grinding between pieces where the paint has been chipped. But that was more or less expected and since it isn't obvious - unless you're exactly looking for those imperfections - you do not notice. I’m in the process of ordering a new can of SEM’s #17013 for touch-ups purposes.

Anyways here are the pics as fresh as today! As always, if you have any question or whatever feel free to ask.

And last but not least, I did this to spice up my stock and boring lighter knob. Just a Rogue Ale Beer Co. cap glued w/ clear epoxy. I think it gives a nice rough touch.

and...I'm stealing your bottle cap idea but for headlight knob

Awesomeness

Yeah, good stuff. I did my chin spoiler years ago with it and it's held up great.

Nice to hear that, I was thinking about hitting my exterior trim pieces w/ some of their trims paints

EDIT:

I took an underside pic of my lighter knob and as you can see, it was literally submerged in an epoxy pool :D It was worth it tho', it hasn't failed me so far.
