2.2 Kenne Bell gen 1 to gen 2 snout swap q's.

Have a 2.2KB I was going to swap to the later gen 2 snount.
(Had a parts blower to steal it from)
I see they are vastly different.
To put the gen 2 snount onto the blower that had the gen 1 I assume I need to get swap the blower side coupler as well?
I hit it with the impact on normal left to loosen and the Allen bolt didn't budge. Where I stopped off at. Is it possibly reverse threaded?
Any insight is appreciated.

Sorta surprised nobody has ran across this. Guess everyone just sent their blowers back to KB and let them do it. When I have time to get back on and get it I'll post up what it took.
