With 436whp that seems pretty impressive. Seems like most cars with the 2.90 are runing around 450-470rwhp. So if you broke 11's with 436whp, then for sure its possible to brake 11's with the 2.90. Nice times :burnout:

Thanks. 450-470hp seems a little high to me for a 2.90. My Std numbers were 450 though. I don't have a midpipe and I'm sure that keeps me from seeing a little higher numbers and I also have a conservative tune. Yeah, I think 11's would be very possible from a 2.90 if you have a good 60ft and power shift. Good luck:beer:

Lance.

450-470 would be pretty high for SAE corrected horsepower on a 2.93. Heck, 470 would be on the high end for a 2.76 pulley without porting. I have a 2.93, drop in K&N and a MAC 3" catback. I put down 435/465 or so on SAE correction. I could find the slip at the shop and post it if needed. Usually 450 +/- 10 hp is what you get for a 2.76. With my setup I ran a 7.93 at 88mph with a 1.8 60ft in the 1/8th at the local track. MPH seemed low for the time. Maybe because I was real careful on the 2-3 shift.

Very impressive runs you have there. Vettes are certainly no slouch. He should be faster with equal horsepower to weight ratios on the big end. His Aerodynamics are much superior to our cars.

Thanks for the compliment! I agree with your coment about the hp. That makes sense to me.

BTW, I ran 11.015 at 128 mph last Friday with 150shot. So if I can dial in my 200hp shot I have a 10 second car for sure.

You guys got to help me convince Lance to mod his car some more so he can come out to the track and race more often.:-D

Man, look at you working me from all angles:banana: To be honest with you, I'm a little concerned with my IRS after Tyler broke at the track. I don't even want to deal with the wife/cost if that happens to me. Let's just say I'm pretty content with my car at the moment, though the track was a lot of fun.

And to address your 30mph thing, with the air and how good it was, I find it odd that deep in the summer where the air was much worse and the heat was a big factor.............my MPH was 1-3mph faster in the 1/8th than that first run, but the 1/4 mph was my best ever. Does that mean if I knew what the hell I was doing I may have seen 11.6's or so? Then for the second run you can see that the 1/8th MPH was 93mph.............but my 1/4 mph was down. It was getting warmer though. I find it odd that the first run would have only 90mph and 120mph in the 1/4, then the next run would have 93mph in the 1/8 and 119 mph in the 1/4. You see where I'm a little weirded out?

I am willing to bet that the 1/8 mph was actually closer to 93 than 90. Must have been a timing error in the 1/8. 30 mph is alot for a vette. Although a friend of mine picked up 35 mph on a 10.12 run at 140. He has a 06 Z06 and sprayed a 100 dry shot.

I'd have to say no way. I was clearly ahead at the 1/8 and he was gaining very very slowly on me after the 1/8 point. He had a very good charge the last half of the race so I think the 30mph gain is accurate.

I agree..........

My car pulls harder up top then down low. But the car obviously had more in it..........I just didn't run it very well that run. The MPH came up in the 1/8th in the other runs and the 1/4 mph went down. I think it went down because the temp was warming up and DA was going up. That happens though.......
