Then I moved onto the Glenns Performance fuel tank.

Tomorrow I need to get a breather check valve and then Im waiting on the fuel hat pigtail harness to arrive so I can put the tank up into the car.

I have a new shiny gloss black tank cover and I will be painting the tank straps gray to match the body molding.

So decided to take the day off today and work on the car while my dad is here in town.

We are still waiting for a few fittings for the fuel line as the wrong ones were sent to me... Ordered them on amazon and its been a complete shit show. Long story short I paid extra for next day delivery but I won't get them till Monday.

First thing on the agenda was to route the fuel lines.

I started off in the above pic with stainless steel self tapping screws however I didn't like those so I went to machined screws and nylock nuts.

Top sides counter sunk nicely into the sound deadener.

I also ran and tied up the rear brake line.

Then I worked on the ground and power cables from the rear up to the front of the car.

Running the line along the wheel well down the passenger side.

I decided to drop the ground wire under the passenger seat and ultimately went to the trans mount.

Instead of going over this piece here I decided to drill and go through it.

Also connecting power distribution blocks. I will have one for Hot, one for ignition hot, and one ground.

I wasn't happy with the rear end lines so I decided to re-bend these as well.

Lots of more work to be done this weekend but I really would love to have this thing fired up soon.

Made some serious progress today but man did I lack taking pictures.

First started by mounting my 1G to 3G upgrade regulator.

I had to put spacers behind it in order to get the connector on the bottom to fit.

Then decided to mount my regulator in my cowl area to hide it.

Then came a delivery from Sinis Built (aka Tom Clark) I was way too excited to take pics but he did an amazing job powder coating my calipers yellow as I wasn't happy with the paint i used. Once I got these I decided to turn it up and get this rear end out of the way and installed.

Here I have the calipers mounted and my hard to braided line mounts I made up turned out great.

This is where the camera went MIA and I busted ass... The rear end went in, bolted up the torque arm and the driveshaft. Torqued down all the bolts and put the car down on its own weight finally.

Here is the final ride height in the rear. This thing is stiff as hell but I will be milling off 100 thousandths off the rear wheel face to bring them in just a hair.

Tomorrow I will be tackling the front brakes and adjusting the ride height up front a bit.

The tires will barely touch when I am in the back jumping up and down so this damn suspension is stiff! Loving it!

Amazing build!
1- Is milling off that little from the wheel really gunna make a difference?

2- Do yourself a huge favor and take the ground off the tranny mount and run it to a ground distribution block up to the front of the car.

Thank you!

almost 1/8 of an inch will certainly help keep the tires from rubbing on the fenders.

This is the ground that comes off the battery. My understanding this should always be engine grounded. Trans is connected to the bell, bell to block. All the same thing in my eyes. Any reason you are suggesting otherwise that Im missing?

This thing is so clean. I commend you for the attention to detail. You clearly don't know the meaning of half-ass & that's a good thing!
