1980's "figured" inflation for the last 2 years, 30%

I carry a super computer around in my pocket and can order tacos to be delivered to my house on a moments notice.

My truck is faster than a supercar from the 1980s, can pull an excavator and gets better mileage than an econo shitbox from that era.

Fake tits did not even exist in 1980.

How does the index adjust for these?

Wasn't all that true 2 years ago, before Bidens 30-40% true inflation?

in 2022 they had FOUR price increases for a total of 18.6%

I pick up fast food maybe once every few years. A few weeks back I was left with no choice and had to pick up McDonald's. I was shocked that a nugget combo was just over $10 after tax.
