That truck is just hands down awesome!!
Truck is too cool
Thanks!
This week hope to button up wiring so I have at least driving lights. Tail, Brake, Turn then load initial tune take out the new dragy then go put a few miles on it.
Any guesses what 0-60 mph will be? Will for sure need to have it properly tuned prior to any WOT for more than a few seconds. Once I get the 91 Octane and E50 tunes finalized I can get serious about longer WOT runs of course I want to properly break it in first for a good 500 mi.
Any guess to 1/4 mi on E50?
Guesses to MPG @ 60-65 MPH? I am shooting for 25 MPG minimum.
I dropped it on scales a month ago without front inner fenders or fenders, 15 gallons in midship fuel tank no fuel in rear tank but had extra stuff in bed and it was 3751 lbs. I will be disapointed if it goes over 3800 lb without me in it but I have added a lot to truck. Extra fuel tank, huge intercooler, Air Conditioning, Class V trailer hitch and more. With the 482 FE and GV OD it was 3820 ready to go forget the fuel level but think mostly empty on fuel.what do you think that combo weighs?
my 4 door ecoboost truck with 3.73s knocks down 20ish @ 79mph. Slowing down to 60-65 would be a HUGE gain
I should be a solid 1000 less than that with tiny tires in comparison which should help the MPG big time. What ever it is it is but just going by prior experience with late model Ford engines in trucks. Steady cruise the weight does not play a huge factor unless in hills. My truck with 3/4 tank and me in it is around 5100lbs. I’ve got 33” tires, no idea on weight with the stock 20” wheels
