I have been building this car for 10 years. It is a built LSX 427 with a built 4L80 transmission. Garret twin turbos with a 9 inch rear end and a Mosier through bolt third member. The build will have full interior, A/C, and all the creature comforts. The engine, with no boost, made 761 HP. It should have conservatively 1600 HP with the turbos. Unknown when this will be done. I have everything to finish it except wheels and tires. Ran into a snag with a body shop and have to find a new body shop.

Yes the Chevy in a Ford thing is not for everyone. Back when I started this build the LS, was the best platform for good power and reliability. The Coyote was not proven yet. And the 4.6 was, well the 4.6.

I have really pined to build a stock car/road race style 64, but with a SOHC motor.

This looks to be a beast!

This should've been a build thread.

Should be outstanding when finished, OP.

Some more pictures. The brake calipers shown are the fronts. There will be two calipers that are a little smaller that will go on of each rear axle.

The car will have a total of 6 calipers. The other picture is the current state of the engine and tranny until I get the body work complete and in primer. Then it is put it all back together time again.
