I had a guy in a 13 try the same thing with me. I even have the same color car hehe.

But no 3v ;)

Kind of a weird race. As bad as the whipple car got yanked at the beginning you'd almost wonder if he missed a shift or screwed up somehow. Then after the 5.0 gets back into it from his missed shift he isn't able to pull at that point.

Guessing the whipple car probably makes more peak power but the 5.0 has a longer power band. Makes a difference.

I would think a properly tuned whipple 3v would be in the 450-475hp if the bottom wasn't built.

I had a SC Mach 1 and I'm convinced my NA 5.0 with my current mods could pull it. It would be close.

My buddy got to race a whipple 3V in his bone stock coyote as well. Here is the result.

Missed shift made that result better for you. The fact he missed and got back in the game proves it. 5.0 sounds awesome!

Whipple rates their non intercooled kit at 415hp so that 3v is basically making what a 5.0 makes stock. It would have been really ugly if the Coyote hadnt missed a gear lol ugh
