Personally I like the looks of the 11-12 more, just a tad bit more though. The 13+ is obviously the better performance package but I'd be satisfied with a bolt on 11-12.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the transmission grind problem that the 10-12s have. If you are looking at a 12, definitely make sure there are no 1-2 shift problems.

I will agree with you on those things. The painted sideshirts, and new taillights on the 13/14 GT500's are better looking pieces than the ones on the 11/12 GT500's IMO. I'm just not a fan of quad tips on a Mustang, and the 13/14 wheels look a little busy, and I'm not much on dark painted wheel usually.

Another nice feature that the 13/14's have in the 15" 6 piston front brakes, and I believe 13" rear rotors.

People are swapping quad tips onto GTs, don't see why you could not put single tips on a 13/14 if you didn't like them. So you are that and a wheel change away from being a 13/14 fan :poke:

I think it's going to boil down to looks mostly. I'd imagine they all drive fairly similar after a TVS.

Personally I think the 13/14 Shelby's are better looking with the open grill and new rear lights.

If it's down to budget, it would depend on how long I'd have to wait to afford a '13/'14...

So how long would it realistically take you to afford the newer model?

13/14 but I am a bit biased. I know it simply makes my 07 look slow. But the earlier car is almost harder to drive as I find it more "raw" than the 14

Even with the horrible experience I had with my '13 (had to lemon it out), I would honestly wait to get the '13. It is that much more of a car. The motor, the cooling, the recaros, the quad tips, the big blower, etc.

All this talk about the different SVTPP wheels, and I think the base 13/14 wheels are some of the nicest wheels to ever come on a factory Mustang.

I'd wait and save for the 13/14.
