So I have my 1.5 installed and running. I'm fairly happy, but I dont yet have a boost gauge installed so I went back to my KB install guide to confirm how much boost I am making on paper at least.
Now about two months ago I called KB and told them I had a 1.5 (provided the model stamping from the side of the blower) and a *stock* bottom pulley. I then asked them to provide me with a SC pulley to make 6-7 PSI. They shipped me a 3" pulley and thats what I am running today.
Looking thru the matrix in the install guide, there isnt a 6-7 psi listing with a 3" SC pulley AND a stock 6.5" bottom pulley. There is a 7psi listing with a 3" SC pulley and a 5" KB bottom pulley.
I'm confused. Did KB screw up royally? Are the docs outdated because I have an older 1.5?
What are you 1.5 guys out there running in terms of SC and crank pulley sizes to get in the 6-7 PSI range?
TIA
P.S. Please dont post the link to http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/mustang-cobra46/mustangcobra46.htm, since I think that boost chart is for the new 2,1l big bore.
