I have a 03 cobra, and I'm kinda new to them. What kind of headers do you guys recommend. I was looking at the mac but they olny offer 1 5/8 and kooks offer 1 3/4 but there 2x higher. Just dont know what size to get.

For what it's worth sean hyland claims 1 3/4 will have 7hp and 8tq over 1 5/8 headers. I am looking at getting a set of 1 3/4.

Thats sort of a misleading comment from the way i understand his book. 1 5/8'' outperformed 1 3/4 up to like 550 hp. After that level, there was too much restriction and not enough flow for scavenging, and the 1 3/4 did better. Just remember that even though its only 1/8'' larger, it will make it more difficult to install.

You could run it like that, Kooks has a x pipe that reduces down to 2.5. I have the 1 7/8 headers but haven't installed them yet. I'm doing 3" all the way though

Yes that is the X-pipe that ARH makes, I just wanted mine a full 3" so I got mine and my brothers that way. It will all bolt up just fine my friend.
