08 GT500 VMP Gen 2 dyno results

Made the swap over to the Gen 2 and got her tuned this weekend. First with the 2.6 pulley and then the 2.4. I only made 16.5 lbs with the 2.6 upper and a 15% lower. Car made 720 hp and 698 tq on the 2.6 setup. With the 2.4 i hit 18.5 lbs and made 750hp and 750 tq on pump gas. Just for fun we bumped the timing to 23 and threw in some Sunoco 104 unleaded and made a pull. This is the one i videoed, made 766 hp and 766 tq. This is in 92* heat. My gen 1 setup made about the same boost and numbers but i dynoed it in 66* weather when i made those #'s. Pretty damn impressive to make a little more in the heat we did. The reason i don't make that much boost is elevation. I will dyno again in the late fall for fun to see what she does. Now for the good stuff.

Yeah stock block, pushing my luck a bit i know. Your right though the Gen 2 keeps pulling to red line where the Gen 1 would drop off.

The guys at VMP told me that I could not run the 2.4 with a 10% lower, without running race fuel.
Am I correct that you are running a 15% AND a 2.4 on pump gas???
