First time running at the local 1/8 mile track. Had a guy talking shit about how the 05 was FAR better than any Mach 1 Mustang. So I just had to prove him wrong. :) :)

Didn't run the best time myself being that it was my first time at the track with this car, but it was enough to shut his mouth!

03 Mach 1-JLT Intake, Diablo Sport Tune, Crap Tires

VS.

05 Mustang GT- Bassani Cat-Back, K&N Drop-In Filter

Numbers as follows-

Mach GT

60-2.28 60- 2.30
330-6.06 330-6.20
1/8-9.15 1/8- 9.40
MPH-79.99 MPH-77.12

It seems like both of us ran pretty slow considering what other people have been running on this site. Any thoughts?

CONGRATS on the KILL:beer:

When I first got my mach it was stock(still is) just weld in flowmasters and drop in K&N filter and on the stock goodyears.
60ft=2.12
1/8et=9.0
1/8mph=79.30
1/4et=13.89
1/4mph=101.53

Not the best time but for only having it a few months not too bad, the tires and leaving at 2krpm's did NOT help. What track are you going too I ran at Orlando Speed World.

I was running it at IRR- Immokolee Raceway. Are you auto or stick? I know that I can improve on my 60' time (first time at track with this car), but my trap speed seems low.

I trapped 81mph with my old SRT-4 and I thought the Mach would pull that no problem....

Stick... Car feels really strong on the street, I think the track prep might have alot to due with the slow times. My 60' really kinda stucks. Half bald Sumotomo times really don't help either.

But you only trapped at 79mph too huh? I was thinking of traps within the 82-83. You raced i Orlando so your DA should be close to mine. I just thought it would be better, considering I trapped 82 in my old SRT-4 with just catback,.

You have absolutely no idea what you are doing racing if you cannot get a Mach 1 in the 8's in the 1/8th mile.
