04 cobra to 03 cobra swap

i ended up buying a 04 cobra roller and then i bought a wrecked 03 cobra and going to transplant. is the computer and the harness the same from 03 to 04 or will i have to change out all the wiring? is there a way to turn the pats system off? i am hoping to just pull the computer and harness out and put in the 04 and be ready to go. any info would be great!!

Yes the harness hookups are the same for both 03-04. The catch is the ignition Key/tumbler lock. You need to use the key/lock that came with the 03 computer for the car to start due to the PATS micro chip in the key, they have to match the computer.

PATS to my knowledge can NOT be disabled. But you could ask a Dealer if they can disable the PATS system. I don't think they can but then you'll get your answer.

If not see if they can make a key for your "Lost Key". They may need the computer out of the car and all the car info in order to do this for you.

i swap the speedo and column key and computer from the 03 to 04 so it some start. right?
