04 cobra ticking/clanking

I have an 04 cobra that has an iron bottom end and a few other mods too long to list. Heads are untouched. I have what seems to be a heat issue. I will start the car, it will run fine for a while. But after the car gets completely up to temp and maybe runs for a while it will start ticking and clanking progressively getting worse until I shut off the motor. I have a video of it but I'm having a hard time posting/uploading it from my phone. Any insight on this?

Add 6.5 quarts of oil, change filter...wash, rinse, repeat.

It's not a factory bottom end. It's an aftermarket 4.6L stroked to 5.0.

I don't think so, but I wasn't exactly specifically looking though. I'll check again.

What type of oil did you use, I used to run 5w20, but since long story short...I'm switching to 10w30. Can you pin point where the noise is coming from?

From the vague description, it sounds like the head tick.
