Anyone ever seen or heard of using 30 over pistons in a Teksid block?? I actually bought a set really cheap and was thinking about using them. All of the stroker kits i've seen and heard about carry 20 over, just wondering if it was due to clearance issues or anything?? Thanks for the help.

thanks, i was kinda weary at first because i called eagle about a stroker kit and questioned about the 30 overs and he was giving me some stuff about not going with them. as long as i know it's safe i think ill use them. thanks again.

My Wesico pistons are .030" over, and I have approximately 100k miles on them with no issues.

.030 oversize is not a problem below roughly 1200 HP, (beyond this upper cylinder distortion becomes a problem from the high cylinder pressures associated with high HP) we keep them on the shelf in most compression ratios in the Manley Brand.

Let us know if we can help!
