Has anyone seen any after market spark plug covers that say Cobra on them? If so what company is selling them?

Just a caution about chroming aluminium used in high heat environemnt. My chrome guy tells me that since aluminum and chrome expand and contract at different rates the chrome will start to come off the aluminum. Under normal conditions like rims or interior pieces this never becomes an issue. However, in those temps under the hood exp on the motor it will be a problem.

Suggest you polish the pieces then have them clear powder coated rather than chrome.

Just my .02

If you do chrome let us know how it holds up:)

He's exactly right, except for the wheel part. The wheels do the exact same thing. That's why the chrome flakes off old chrome wheels in big chunks.

Thanks for the info. Nobody has ever told me that, but that does make since. The hard part is finding a set to even start with.
Thanks Mike

MineralG03,

Did you have to file the fins on the right side cover to clear the intake hose?

Thanks for the pic, ....... it looks "sweet"
