03/04 bumper and fogs on 99 question

so heres the deal i have a 99 that i am switching over to a terminator bumper cover and foglights. will the stock 99 wiring work with these ne foglights or do i need to change something. i was hoping they would just plug right up and go. anybody that has done this thoughts and comments would appreciated. thanks in advance.

No the fog light pigtails are different from 99/01 to 03/04.You have to cut and splice Ford has a little kit to do it.

yeah you can call Steve @ Tousley ford his number is at the top of these forums it might be the cheapest way, you might be able to find it somewhere else but i have no clue where.

go to autozone and buy the pigtails...thats what my brother did and it worked perfect...i think they're 9006 connecotrs

You can also get the pigtails from the parts store.
They are listed by the bulb number,
so look up the foglight bulb number for an 04 Cobra,
use that number to get the correct pigtail.

Autozone lists the foglight bulb as 9145.

I just did this swap and bought my pigtails from Autozone you need replacement pigtails for 9005 bulbs thats what i used.

hmmm....i did the cheap mans route. i gorilla glued the lining of the actual bulbs and i glued them to the opening. it held lovely and it was clean believe it or not.

But hey then again i'm lazy and didnt feel like splicing:loser:

yeah i was in autozone today and they said it was a 9145 bulb as well, so what connectors do i need?
