01 vs 03 Lower intake manifold???

How does the 99-04 cobra/mach1 lower intake manifolds differ from the 03-04 cobra lower intake manifolds?

Im not entirely sure, but Im sure they are way different cause the 03/04 houses a intercooler inside it and also has to have the supercharger bolted right on top, So they prob dont really even resemble eachother.

The 03 lower intake would suck monkey balls for an NA application. due to housing an intercooler it's runner length is significantly shorter. It's actually hollowed out if memory serves me correct.

the intake charge is blown from the supercharger and passes through the intercooler to the bottom of the intake where the intake charge must then return back up around the intercooler in to a short runner leading to the combustion chamber.

Simply put you'd never get it to work with an NA DOHC. It would run like absolute crap.

Ya it would suck for an NA application, It is very different as people have mentioned, the fuel rails that bolt to it are also different.

Its actually a terrible Manifold but... good for a twin screw

It's even horrible for a twin screw application. All around, it pretty much stinks.
