Right now CAD is worth almost the same as USD. If he gets 34k Canadian, it would be about 32,000 here in the states. Very good deal for this seller :).

See? This is why i'm gonna have to go through all that border bullshit to get my Cobra. This guy IS telling the truth though, Canadians DO think these cars are worth twice what they are, and they pay that too. Only problem with that is, i have better things to do with that extra $8000 that it'll cost me to skip the border hassle.

The 96-98's are averaging $16000-$22000 up here right now, $25000 for something REALLY nice, and $8000-$12000 in the states, maybe $15000 for a gem. If i have to go to god damn FLORIDA (where EVERY bloody Cobra came from it seems) to save that EIGHT GRAND, i will.

No offence ssssvt, but Canadians paid too damn much for these things, the dollar was low too long (dont know what it was in 96-98, but it WASN'T .95c), and now they expect others to pay that same premium. The dollar has come way up, demand has gone down (???), and there are ten times as many ov these things just below the border.

If you can get that price for your car, all the power to ya. Seriously, you will eventually get it i'm sure, especially if its as nice as you say. Knowing what Canadians WILL pay for these cars, i'm thinking i should start importing them to sell up here!

I just sold my 04 black cobra with 6500kms. on it for 38000. Ihave been offered 25000 for my 01 with 17000 kms. and not accepted. I would like 27000-29000. that is canadian funds. There are not as many of these cars in canada as the U. S. Look at SVTOA.CA. Always someone looking for an 03-04 Cobra.

I paid 25,000 cdn for my 99 with 1700kms on it, would have been around 21USD at the time. To me the car was worth every penny, there's a sucker/buyer born every minute.:-D At the time I bought mine, most 03/04's were pushing 35-40cdn for a high quality car.
I personally don't like the look of the 03/04 cars, I'd rather pay 25 for a 99-01than 30 for an 03/04.

good luck with your sale
